Meta might have just pulled off the biggest ambush of the AI race.
While OpenAI and Anthropic have spent the last few weeks getting hammered with headlines around safety, security, and the growing risks of AI agents, Meta quietly picked its moment.
First came Muse, Meta’s new personal AI agent. Then at Meta Connect last week, they went all in.
Muse can connect to your apps, handle tasks on your behalf, work in the background, use a computer, shop, plan travel, and soon even have its own email address. Meta is also bringing it directly into its AI glasses. And unlike a lot of AI products that still feel like demos, Muse has one thing Meta understands extremely well: great consumer UI.
The AI race just got a lot more interesting.
And speaking of agents actually doing work for you, this week is the perfect time to put yours to work.
We’re heading into the final days of Q3, with Q4 starting Thursday. So this week’s prompt turns AI into your quarter-end chief of staff. Give it access to your recent emails or work chats and have it find the loose ends, forgotten follow-ups, quick wins, and unfinished business you can still close before the quarter ends.

Q3 ends this week, and I want to enter Q4 with as few loose ends as possible.
Review my recent emails and/or work chats from the past 30 days, with extra attention to the last 2 weeks.
Identify:
Open loops
Anything I said I would do, send, review, decide, schedule, introduce, or follow up on that may still be unfinished.Waiting on others
Requests, proposals, approvals, decisions, invoices, contracts, or conversations where I’m waiting for someone else and should follow up.Quick wins
Items I could realistically complete before the end of Q3 that would create meaningful progress, revenue, momentum, or goodwill.Important conversations that went quiet
Threads with clients, prospects, colleagues, partners, or other important contacts that deserve a response or follow-up.Q4 carryovers
Anything important that cannot reasonably be finished this week but should be intentionally scheduled or prioritized for Q4.
Then create my Q3 Finish Strong Plan:
Do Today: The 3–5 highest-impact actions I should take immediately
Finish This Week: Tasks I should close before Q4 begins
Follow Up: People I should contact and why
Move to Q4: Items that should intentionally carry forward
Drop: Things that no longer deserve my attention
Prioritize based on impact, urgency, relationships, and likelihood of completion this week.
For every recommended action, tell me why it matters and the next specific step.
Finally, identify the three actions that would make me feel like I truly finished Q3 strong.
